In Ayurveda it is said that all disease begins in the mind. In Jyotish, Vedic Astrology, it is said that the state of our mind determines the state of our life. The Yogic perspective states that there are 4 layers of the mind to be observed and understood.

Swami Sivananda encouraged his students to “Understand the mind; study the mind; and know this machinery well, and know also how to manage it.”

In our very busy and outward focused culture, news travels fast. We instantly hear about bad news happening all over the world in the click of a button. In order to stay healthy, we must keep our mind in balance. This is why I formulated this herb, aromatherapy and flower essence infused oil for you.

This oil is meant to be used to anoint the head, forehead, neck and shoulders to bring deep peace to the mind through the medicine of plants, flowers and roots.

This blend contains all organic sesame oil infused with organic herbs of tulsi, brahmi, gotu kola, ashwagandha, calamus, rose, essential oils of jatamansi and frankincense and flower essence of brahmi made under the full moon.

The medicine of the herbs and flowers:

Tulsi: regarded as a holy plant in India, this herb brings about a high spiritual vibration, purifies the mind and calms anxious thoughts, while alleviating the negative effects of stress on the mind.

Brahmi: another sacred plant in India and Ayurveda, this herb specifically targets the brain to increase oxygenation and prana flow, thus increasing overall brain and mind health.

Gotu Kola: the best herb to enhance the memory. Gotu Kola is said to be a favorite food for elephants, which says a lot for its effects on the brain and memory.

Ashwagandha: this root helps balance the effects of stress on the body.

Calamus: relaxes swirling thoughts.

Rose: this is the highest vibration flower and invokes the soothing, nurturing essence of the moon and the divine feminine. When used in this formula, it activates our ability to receive and be nourished.

Essential Oils of:

Jatamansi: this oil is especially useful for those who tend toward worry or anxious thoughts. It assists in grounding and calming the mind so that we can sleep deeply and awake rested and rejuvenated.

Frankincense: reminds us that we are worthy of care, taking time to connect to our highest self and create a sanctuary of peace.

Flower essence of Brahmi: flower essences are the most potent and yet the most gentle medicine to work with the emotions and mind. They bypass the thinking mind and unravel the root of the pattern in a gentle, loving and supportive way. Brahmi flower essence specifically evokes the connection we inherently have with the divine while balancing the mind and soothing stress and the emotional mind. I made this flower essence, as you can see pictured in photo #2, under the full moon and with help from my quartz crystal allies.
