Cilantro is becoming known for its gentle detoxifying properties in the Western world, something Ayurveda has known for centuries.
Cilantro, the leaf of the Coriander plant, Coriandrum sativum, purifies the blood (Pole, 2006), increases digestive capabilities without increasing acidity, and helps the safe removal of toxins such as heavy metals and other environmental toxins out of the body.

Detox Cilantro Chutney
1 bunch Cilantro, fresh organic
Juice of one lime
A couple of slices of fresh ginger or more if you like it hotter
Salt to taste
A spoonful of walnut oil
if you want to soften the detoxification effect you can add a couple of medjool dates
Blend and serve.
Use a spoonful or 2 as a condiment with your food daily!
